Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard had a very small wedding. They paid a grand total of $142 to say their vows in a Beverly Hills courthouse in 2013. Since it was only the two of them at the courthouse, as a joke, some friends brought them a wedding cake after inscribed: “World’s Worst Wedding”. Well, world’s worst wedding or not, they seem to be pretty happy. They’ve been married a while, now, and have two daughters named Lincoln and Delta.
Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski
What a whirlwind romance this was! Amanda and Thomas announced their engagement in September of 2016. Shortly after, Amanda announced she was pregnant. The two wasted no time in eloping together on March 12, 2017. According to the couple, they just slipped off into the country with their officiant and “did their thing”. “It was perfect,” Amanda said in an interview. The couples wrote their own vows and said them in front of Thomas’ dog Finn. Thomas was quoted saying it was “beautiful” and “everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other”. Only two weeks later, Amanda gave birth to a baby girl. From the sound of it, the couple and baby are doing very well. It’s almost like a fairytale!
Allison Williams and Ricky Van Veen
The 27-year-old Girls star, Allison Williams, and the 34-year-old co-founder of “College Humor”, Ricky Van Veen, tied the knot at the rustic Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming. The couple dated for three years before getting engaged in 2013. They married the year after.
All sorts of stars attended the wedding, including Alison’s co-stars from Girls: Katy Perry, John Mayer, Barry Diller, Diane Von Furstenberg, Bruce Springsteen and Seth Meyers. Tom Hanks officiated, and her father, Brian Williams, walked her down the aisle. It was a simple, beautiful ceremony that many have tried to recreate. The guests sat on pillows during the wedding, surrounded by nature. Allison’s gorgeous couture gown was Oscar de la Renta, inspired by style-icon Duchess Kate Middleton’s wedding gown.
